While I am plenty busy with my impending move back to America, the world of craft beer waits for no man. Coming soon is the second annual Tokyo Beer Week. There are going to be a ton of craft beer related events all over the capital between April 13th and 20th.
Even before the official start date DevilCraft Hamamatsucho will be running a special brunch and a brewery tour of their new facility on Sunday April 5th.
Coedo will have an English language beer tasting on Friday the 18th near Takatanobaba station. The cost for that one is 1500 yen. Also on Friday the Baird Brewing Nakameguro taproom will host the Tokyo Beer Week Closing Party. The Baird taprooms have never let me down, so I could see that being a lot of fun.
There are a lot of events being held all over Tokyo, so if you are interested I highly recommend checking out this link and looking over the whole calendar.
For me, I will be gone from Japan by then, but Beersensei.net will live on with more coverage of international craft beer on Wednesdays, with an uninterrupted stream of excellent Mad Capper Reviews every Friday.
